CalgaryHotelAssociation.com was designed and built to allow it's members to communicate within the organization, stay current with developments and news in the industry and share confidential information. Additionally, the Calgary Hotel Association chose to leverage its site to promote its member properties and allow direct online access to hotel bookings.

Canadian Rockies Explorer

This 320 page book for best-selling author Graeme Pole is a full-colour, photo and map-based guidebook to Banff, Jasper, and the Canadian Rockies. This project required the development of design and branding standards as it is the first in the new "Canadian Rockies Companion Guide" series by publisher Mountain Vision.

The Stride Content Management System (CMS) is built to deliver totally customized content management capabilities. It's intuitive and very easy to learn, requiring no more than basic computer skills to manage. Dynamically delivered through engaging, unique, and contemporary design, this system provides leading-edge, database-driven, flexible content management for websites of virtually any type or size. "Dynamic" in this case means that the content is held in one central database that is directly affected by what the user of the website enters. The data can be displayed in almost unlimited combinations, based on what the user is looking for (e.g. a link, a search request, etc.) It is a fantastic way to provide your users with exactly the information they need.

Drupal is an open source content management system built and updated by hundreds of developers to provide a wide range of solutions to database-driven content management challenges. It can be somewhat more restrictive than Stride 1.0 CMS in its customization, but is widely supported and appropriate for a comprehensive range of solutions. Following detailed discussions, we may recommend other content management systems, providing you with the most appropriate system for your specific needs.

These systems utilize server-side PHP scripting and a robust MySQL database. Javascript is used where required for the user interface. These powerful CMS's can provide full control over all content items within the website including text, images, links, downloadable PDF files, Flash or music files, and the navigation system itself.
